    1) I can eat many traditional foods of my country, but I cannot eat my favourite traditional foods here.

    2) I can shop many different brands in here such as Forever21, H&M, but I cannot shop like that in my country.

    1.I could drink befor 18 in China, but I can't do it right here.
    2.I couldn't have a very good education in China, but I can have a good education in the U.S..

    in my country i used to have a time for fun. i can travel, i can go to the parties but i cannot work and study in the some time.
    in contrast , here i can work and study but i cannot have a time for a fun

    What is something that you could do in your country but you can't do here?
    I could drink beer at the park at the seaside with my friends, but here in Houston I can't do it.

    What is something that you couldn't do in your country but you can do here?
    I couldn't go to the park to relax because there is no park near the city like we have here in Houston.

    In my country, I can live with my family, but i could not live here.

    In my country, i cannot go to houston community college, but in united states i could .

    I could walk with alcoholic beverages on the street, and I can not here.
    What is something that you couldn't do in your country but you can do here?
    In my country I couldn't speak english, but I can do it in this country.

    In my country i could do many things like hang out and travel with my familly specialy with my mom but here i cannot.
    2-in my country i could not work many hours but here you can work many hours .

    1-I could hang my clothes on the laundry rack on the balcony in my hometown, but i cant do it here.
    2-I couldn't give a clock to people as a gift in my hometown, but i can do it here.(Because clock sounds same as 'end' in mandarin, which means 'death')

    I can speak English all day here, but I couldn't in my country.

    1.In my country I could eat foods from my country but here I couldn't eat food from my country because it is not here.
    2. in my country I couldn't pay house, electricity, and foods by my own, my parents were taking care of this. But here I could do all of this by myself because I'm not living with them anymore.

    1. I could drive my car in Mexico but now in USA I can not.
    2. In my city I couldn't take buses with air conditioner but now in USA I can.

    1. I could go to movies with my friends every weekend, but now I cannot go, because I have to work.
    2. I couldn't shop online because I didn't have a credit card, now I can do it.

    I could be with my friends all the time in my county and go out with them ,but now i am far from them.I can stay home over here with out nobody, i could not do that in my country

    1. When I was in my country I could spend more time in my hobbies,and now I cannot have free time to enjoy my hobbies.
    2. In United States I could speak English, and I couldn't in my country.

    1. In my country I could work in my real job, but here in united state I can't because i need validate my degree.
    2.In chile I couldn't have good soccer field for play soccer , but in United State I can play soccer in good condition field

    When I was back home, I could spend time with my niece and nephew, but I cannot spend time with anymore, since we are so far from each other.

    In my country I couldn't have a part time job while in college, and I can work as a part time here.
